Good base for family stays with a car

Pros: For us the location was ideal as its near to where family live. There is a lot of car parking space and the house is very functional - 3 very workable double bedrooms and a good size single. Kitchen is equipped with all the expected basics and bathrooms work for a family. Beds were really comfortable and the curtains are pretty good (we often find this is the weakness of renting a home vs a hotel room). Key pick up and drop off process was very well organised and all instructions were easy to follow.

Cons: Sound travels through the walls throughout the house a lot and that means everyone hears everyhting which with small kids is imperfect as they ake each other up. Could do with some upkeep/paint in a fw noticeable places

Pros: Everything. The size was perfect. Seating for all my family to hang out was amazing. And everything we could need for the kitchen was there

A pleasant and comfortable stay

Pros: This is a lovey big property in a quiet street with plenty of space for everyone. It has the modcons that we rely on for comfort and simple provisions.

Cons: There was no non slip mat for the bath with is an essential for properties suitable for children. There were only 2 loo rolls supplied for a house that caters for 10 people. A spare would have been good! It would have been good to have four pillows per double bed rather than just polyester ones.

Great size property, clean, airy, would recommend 😊

Pros: Great space, clean and conveniently positioned for getting to and from the Wedding venue 🤗

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like, there was a maintenance issue which was dealt with, no disruption to ourselves 👍

Pleasant stay

Pros: The house was clean and warm. There are 2 big couches in the living room on which you can spend the whole day on. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe but it is a bit far from city centre. But the bus stops are 5 minutes away. There was a ginger cat that was very friendly. The owner is also reachable and pleasant. Overall, the stay was great!

Cons: The floors were creaky and the walls and floors were paper thin. You could hear everything being said downstairs in the bathrooms. The downstairs toilet’s door was broken and it could not be locked.

Lovely house for a trip to Cambridge

Pros: Last minute trip to Cambridge and found this house. Lovely location and perfect house

Cons: Would like a wall clock and also some small tables in the living room

Warm, clean. Plenty of parking on a private drive.

Pros: Heating was really responsive and we were all warm despite it being icy cold outside. Loved the supply of a few cleaning essentials eg dishwasher tabs - Thankyou. Hairdryer was a thoughtful addition too.

Great stay, great accommodation overall.

Pros: We checked in early after paying a supplement and as the cleaner was still at the property she handed the keys over to me. The property was very well cleaned

Cons: I thought the owner could have been more friendly in his written communications. It was very much Dont do this - make sure you do that. No parties. We were a group of mature ladies getting together for a 40 year school reunion and had hoped to be treated as such. I assume there may have been troublesome renters before but alas we are not all the same. Needs to chill a bit. Bit diss-appointed with the extra charge as most properties we have stayed in do not really charge for the short extensions. The owner said it was all about extra cleaning charges. An extra £40 charge on top of the already listed £100 - a bit steep I would say but, big congratulations to the lady who did clean - she was very thorough.

Pros: Great sized house, perfect for our family trip. Very clean. Great communication with owner, friendly and helpful.

Ideal accommodation for all

Pros: The location was ideal for our visit to the Duxford Airshow. Everything we needed was supplied. There were plenty of takeaways available in the area to save us cooking but all the facilities were there if we wanted to cook ourselves. It was ideal for my three teenage grandsons instead of a hotel ( room to chill).

Cons: Nothing to dislike
