Great stay for six, great location, and lovely calm space

Pros: We loved the special touches like Christmas decorations and thoughtful things like coffee, hot chocolate etc. The hosts were really welcoming and accommodating for our group of 6. Really close to the busway into the city and a great cafe next door.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!

Excellent cabin and stay. Would definitely recommend for those wanting to visit Cambridge without the hassle of driving

Pros: Great, spacious and cozy modern equipped cabin with large surround sound TV, infrared sauna, and comfy beds. Kids loved it. We felt very at home. Free parking space - location of cabin felt safe and secure. Ideally located a short stroll away from the park and ride to Cambridge (you can frequently hear the buses passing the cabin rather noisily but it isn’t a pain). Bar/event space next door serves breakfast, brunch and has pop up trucks for evening food. COOP is 2 mins drive/15 mins walk away for groceries. Hosts are friendly and kind and live next door to the cabin, so are on site to assist if needed. If you’re independent, they will leave you to it and not disturb you at all during your stay - the perfect balance. We would happily stay again.

Cons: Wish the sauna was hotter (I like the temperature to be around 85c and I could only get it to around 40c) and the cabin was located in a more secluded location (we knew it wasn’t and it didn’t matter in late October anyway) but apart from that it was all likeable.

We would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the area. It is beautiful and full of well thought out touches.

Pros: The cabin was full of character and felt warm and welcoming. The host was very friendly and helpful. We loved revisiting the area we lived in many years ago. The sauna is an added bonus.

Cons: There isn’t really much outside space dedicated to the cabin although there are some seats just in front. A small thing compared with the coolness of the inside.

Pros: We had the best stay in my home town Cambridge at this Cabin. So wonderful, they have thought of everything and have made everything so easy and relaxing we made so many beautiful memories on this trip, the cabin is magical. This is my no. 1 stay for Cambridge. I miss it already. Thank you Buddy & Lisa. Amazing place.

Pros: We had such a lovely time here and it had everything we needed for a cosy weekend. The sauna was such an added bonus and it was decorated for Christmas which was such a festive touch. It was lovely that when we arrived we were shown everything by the host which made us feel welcomed. Thank you so much!

Most enjoyable stay.

Pros: The property was quirky, my dad loved the rocking chair, a great location for where we needed to be. The hosts were lovely and the grounds/ garden were nice to sit out in. Northstowe tap and social next door for a cold beer and food, we were not far from the shops and a lovely Chinese in The black Bull.

Cons: We did hear the noise from the buses on the guided bus way mostly during the evening and late night, we did get use to it, they did shake the property a little.

Buddy's Amazing Cabin

Pros: Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed our stay as a family. It was everything we wanted and the host Buddy was very friendly and kind. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place was very cosy - I could imagine in winter around Christmas, it is just beautiful there. We hope to return in the near future!
