A super place to stay interesting decor, a great room and food.

Pros: A really great place. The room was very comfortable and decorated with some design flair. The bar was a real pub bar with a separate well designed dining area with large glass windows giving a nice view over the garden. The food in the restaurant was freshly cooked an interesting mixture to fit all tastes. Breakfast was exceptional a really interesting range of options, not just the usual fry-up or eggs benedict that seems the norm these days. The staff were very friendly and well organised. All in all a great place for a stopover or short break.

Cons: Nothing.

Lovely location, fantastic staff, great for somewhere to stay for a wedding nearby.

Pros: Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and delicious breakfast.

Cons: Not a bad thing but something to note for guests, the stairs to the rooms are quite steep as to be expected in an older building

Excellent establishment, would happily stay again if in the area.

Pros: Breakfast was good, albeit without butter for toast until asked (and turned up frozen) but very minor gripe. Not plentiful portions but totally acceptable.

Cons: All was good to be honest, it was a great stay for one night very last minute. Signage to clearly show where the entrance to the rooms upstairs is located could be handy for folks who don't like exploring.
