Beautiful location, good facilities

Pros: Location perfect for a family with beautiful surroundings, the pool and walks through the woods with my dog. Cottage was spacious and cute. BBQ perfect for us thank you. Key was in door on arrival, all very easy. My son broke a mirror while we stayed and the host was very good about it.. We loved the Crown at Stoke by Nayland, real ales and good food. Local shop in Polstead was pretty cute too and did some lovely cakes! Quite a distance from Colchester, def need a car.

Cons: Just wasn't very clean unfortunately, positively sticking to the floors, I had to wash them all the next morning after arriving early in the evening. Only so many dead flies and cobwebs one wants to see at the start of your stay! I admit mine was a last minute booking but the bookings only had one slot left.. Needs a bigger TV for the room!!
