Picturesque cosy cottage in ideal location

Pros: Cute cosy pretty little cottage that had everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was more enjoyable as a couples retreat once we dropped our daughter off at pony camp, rather than for a family due to the size of the property and my daughter wanting to spread herself out on the sofa 😀. Exceptional food served at the Fox inn about 3 doors down but gets busy, so probably need to book to get a table inside. Cottage is in a quiet village location but easy driving distance to great places for exploring with our dog such as Dunwich beach and Rendlesham forest (recommend Discover Suffolk app to discover footpaths). The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary was also a good day out.

Cons: Bathroom downstairs wasn’t ideal for night time trips but it was a small price to pay for staying in the lovely cottage.

A fabulous little find for a girls few nights away, defiantly will return for 3 night next time.

Pros: We liked that it was right next to the local pub that served excellent food and drinks.

Cutest wee cottage

Pros: The cutest cottage, it was perfect for us - a couple + adult son + dog. Lovely furnishings, comfy beds, good shower and well-equipped kitchen. We had great weather so the enclosed gardens for the dog and outside seating were well used. The quiet lane from the cottage was useful for morning and evening dog walks. The pub 2 doors down (The Fox Inn) is friendly and does fab food. There are lots of lovely walks nearby by car esp Westleton/Dunwich direction.

Cons: Nothing! Compact size and steep stairs wouldn’t suit children or less mobile visitors.

Superb accommodation, great attention to detail.

Pros: The property was super. Beautifully furnished with amazing detail - lamps, pictures, cushions, ornaments, wall decorations . Good tv. Exceptional kitchen equipment. Comfy beds, Great bathroom with bath and shower over. handy front entrance area for boots and coats. Front and rear gardens. Helpful notes. When we arrived someone had been in and turned on a couple of lamps and put the heating on. Great welcome. Dog friendly. (We took our own sheets to cover sofa in case dog jumped up).

Cons: Only thing was that we didn’t find a freezer. Not a big problem for a short break.
