Perfect. Homely, comfortable, peaceful. A breath of fresh air
Pros: MP Cottage was beautiful and perfect for our couple of nights away. Lizzy and Andrew have thought of everything and it truly felt like ‘home’ during our visit. The Tea/Coffee facilities were very much appreciated on our arrival (complete with cookies!) especially after a long drive full of traffic jams. We met both Lizzy and Andrew who were really friendly and left us to our own devices. On our first night we sat at the back to enjoy the fresh air, and managed to do a bit of wildlife watching - Moorhens with their chicks on the pond, then rabbits and a couple of Muntjack deer in the field, heaven. Everything with this place was perfect, the bed, the shower, the kitchen, the views, the garden, the sofa, the towels, the information sharing…you name it. Hopefully we’ll get an opportunity/excuse to go back.

This is a lovely place for a quiet break, with interesting places within easy reach.
Pros: Lovely quiet location, with view over open countryside. We enjoyed visiting old towns, a fenland nature reserve, and walking. The cottage was very well equipped. The host responded very promptly to our questions.

Beautifully appointed cottage, peaceful and idyllic location
Pros: Had a fantastic stay at Mustard Pot Cottage. It is beautifully appointed and has all the facilities you need for a stay here. Bed was really comfortable and it’s so peaceful and idyllic which meant a great nights sleep. We walked to Hoxne village from right outside the cottage and it’s only a 10 min walk into the centre of Eye. It’s in a great location whether walking, cycling or driving as there is so much to see and do around this area. Stunning sunset right outside the front of the property which was a bonus. Plenty of information provided by our hosts Izzy and Andrew prior to our arrival and lots more by way of leaflets etc within the cottage itself. Izzy and Andrew were fantastic hosts, thank you very much, we had a fabulous 2 night stay and would definitely stay again and will be recommending to family and friends.

Pros: The cottage was superbly equipped; there was nota single item that had been forgotten. The best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. Equipment and extras in the kitchen meant we could cook whatever we wanted. The bedding and towels were of an excellent quality and the bed itself extremely comfortable. Fantastic shower, easy to use, and constant hot water all day long. An extremely peaceful setting. Be sure to iit the 100th Bomb Group Museum and the Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, both were very interesting and only a short drive away.
Cons: The only comment I would make is that for people like us of a certain age and with health conditions the addition of 2 grab rails in the shower would be a big improvement to safety
