Navigation Cottage on the Historic Sea Lock overlooking the Nature Reserve

A beautiful dog friendly cottage in an incredible location.

Pros: Wonderful and peaceful location. Dog friendly. Beautiful garden. Lovely cottage atmosphere.

Cons: Needed something round the gate to stop dogs escaping but we had some elastic we used. Some of the pillows could do with being replaced. However, none of the above would stop me throughly recommending it as a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect location for visiting parents in maldon.

Pros: The location, the gorgeous tree and flower filled garden, the beautiful house. The ease of arranging the stay including swift responses from the owners.

Cons: My husband was very disappointed that there were not bikes as advertised, if we'd have known beforehand he could have brought his own.

Wonderful stay, only one problem it went to quickly should h e stayed longer

Pros: The location was excellent right on the water and by the lock and the Cottage was great. A really lovely break we would definitely rebook

Great cottage, superb location

Pros: Beautiful location and the property had fantastic gardens which we super important to us. there was lots of seating in the property which was great when we had family visit and we loved the conservatory area this was perfect for the dogs to have a secure space. We had an issue with one of the showers but the property owner responded to our text very quickly and talked us through fixing the issue which we really appreciated. We liked the properties historical features and the local walks are fantastic, we look forward to visiting again.

Cons: The cooker has no markings around the control nobs so was its really difficult to know what setting you have it on but otherwise we was really happy with our stay.

Pros: The cottage is exceptionally located, has the most amazing gardens and is super comfortable. A genuine little gem!!

Nette alte Hütte mit Charme, kein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis

Pros: Die Lage ist genial, das Haus ist eine echte historische Besonderheit, die Ausstattung sehr gut und viel Platz trotz niedriger Deckenhöhen. Sehr schöner Wintergarten und Garten. In der Ecke Urlaub zu machen würden wir nicht empfehlen, da kann man als deutscher Tourist schon bessere Küstenabschnitte in England finden - unsere ganz persönliche Meinung.

Cons: Parken war komplett nervtötend, da man zwar Kennzeichen angibt, um auf einem Anwohnerparkplatz zu parken, aber der Parkplatz ist überfüllt, wenn in dem Ort viel los ist, da sich nicht alle daran halten. Das Haus ist halt alt und war nicht an allen Stellen vorbildlich sauber. Die Betten waren eher durchgelegen, das ganze Interieur passend zum Haus alt und benutzt. Küche und vor allem Bäder aber auf neuestem Stand. Insgesamt war es vor allem eins: viel zu teuer im Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
