Lovely cottage beautifully restored and presented.

Pros: Lovely cottage beautifully restored and presented. The house was very well equipped with everything we required.

Cons: The wasps but hopefully they were just a temporary feature

Constable Cottage

Pros: It was a very pretty property with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. Pretty village and very peaceful. Loved the enclosed garden for privacy and our dog.

Cons: Parking was a problem one night, had to park quite a way down the street but we were warned this before we went.

A very comfortable cottage in a lovely location

Pros: Communication from the host before we arrived was excellent. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Located in the very attractive village of Nayland, the cottage is ideal for a short break.

Cons: I was concerned before we arrived that there was no off-road parking but that really was not a problem. The recommended location diagonally opposite the cottage was absolutely fine.

Excellent second stay at comfortable cottage

Pros: This was our second stay at this very comfortable and well equipped cottage. A pretty garden with seating areas at the back was also well used as we had superb weather for October. All facilities were good, though one or two extras would have helped: a dustpan & brush (unless we didn't manage to find them 🤣 ); a large pan for pasta and also a larger frying pan. Small points - we would still highly recommend Constable Lodge, and plan to return ourselves.

Excellent location in comfort with thoughtful touches.

Pros: Wonderful base for family catch up with local walks and wonderful local cuisine. Lovely welcome pack and enjoyed the wood burner.

Cons: With a magic wand I would improve the parking availability and the size of the 2nd bedroom and provide an outdoor or ground floor extra w.c. However it was brilliant for our purposes
