Cosy Lodge with Amazing View of a Fishing Lake

Pros: Super clean rooms, awesome lake view, all kitchen equipment and utensils were very clean, instructions were super clear and great comms from host. onsite parking infront. accomodated to my baby's needs by extending to 1pm. highly recommend this place!

Cons: was quite difficult to navigate to the exact spot at night but clear in daylight.

Pros: Everthing it was very clean very comfortable had everthing you needed and more the location was very peaceful the host was extremeley accommodating

Pros: Peaceful on a lake. Pretty much what you need is in the lodge. It is quite central to get to places. If any isdues owners were quick to respond. Enjoyable 2 days will go again as this was our second time.

Cons: It not that i didnt like but decking was ratger slippy. We had no dislukes.

Had a most amazing stay. Both my sister and I suffer with OCD so some of the cleaning comments may just be where our OcD

Pros: stunning property, very modern and excellent appliances - Clearly cared for and utmost mod cons. a beautiful view. Loved the electric thermostat, showers very good and bathrooms beautiful stocked and clean, Kitchen was stocked nicely, loved the water filter jug. coffee machine and milk frother was amazing 😍😍 dishwasher handy and washing machine with all supplies available.. very convenient and helpful to ensure the lodge was kept clean whilst we stayed :)

Cons: there were a few areas that were not clean, such as one table was dirty and sticky, above one bed were multiple cobwebs, mat to door was very wet (saturated) and windowsills were dirty.. Both sets of doors could have been cleaned and hoover was very dirty and full up. could benefit from a door mat inside the lodge at front door.

Absolutely perfect 2 night break spending quality time together.

Pros: It was absolutely beautiful. Clean, welcoming, smelt lovely, really spacious. The personal touches were such a lovely surprise.

Cons: The only one thing would be to have another comfortable chair in the lounge area. We travelled as a party of 4 people and one of us ended up sitting on the floor.

Top place to stay

Pros: Quality fit out and they had thought of everything. Easy to get in. Loads of room. Nice to overlook lake and fish.

Mini break

Pros: The scenery was lovely on the fishing lake. Everyone we met were lovely. The lodge was very comfortable with little touches. We decided to stay an extra night as we had great weather and Nicola was great in responding and sorting. The location was ideal 4 mins away from st oyseths but also not far to Clacton and Walton on the naze. Cant believe huge fish came right to the edge of the water. The ducks were entertaining also. All round a brilliant mini break.

Cons: Loved everything. Literally didn’t want to leave. 🙂

Dreamy.

Pros: It was dreamy! We really had the best time, great to disconnect. My 5 years old love it. We hope that we will be back. Fully equipped made it very convenient. The coffee, candles, board games, bath gift made it extra special. Every detail was lovely, thanks a lot.
