Church Farm Lodge

Beautiful country location

Pros: Absolutely beautiful location. If you dream of living in the countryside this is the place for you. Only a 10 minute drive to nearest shops, I wake up really early and was lucky to have 2 little deer to watch from the window along with pheasants, Hares and horses in the distance. The lodge was perfect, clean and comfortable. You get a welcome back with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would 100% come back again

Pros: It's a beautiful, rural lodge, great weekend getaway, the fire was lovely, the lodge was very warm and comfortable and the welcome pack was great - thank you !

Cons: a tiny thing would be a bath mat for the bathroom as the floor in there is cold, but this is really a tiny thing :)

Perfect getaway

Pros: What a lovely get away. Everything has been thought of. Everything was spotless and very thoughtfully laid out. Fab shower and the bed was really comfortable. Nothing has been overlooked. Just perfect thank you

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful Lodge and setting

Pros: Peaceful and beautiful area. The Lodge was warm and had everything you could need for a weekend away. Fitted out beautifully, clean and luxurious-feeling.

Cons: Nothing except the rain!

Pros: Spacious Lodge, got everything you need, clean, great facilities and very good and easy communication with the owners. Absolutely fab and highly recommended.

Beautiful location and well maintained property

Pros: Location is quiet and peaceful. Plenty of nature around the property so felt very relaxed when sitting on the patio. Everything that we would need was provided and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Shower was lovely with right water pressure and heat. Host was polite and friendly

Pros: The rural almost isolated position, yet only 15mins from town. Nothing but horses and bird song to be heard.

Pros: Beautiful place, lovely, clean and comfy….. good in fridge and snacks. Superb.

Wish I'd had annual leave left to stay longer!

Pros: Roomy, lovely setting, great facilities inc dishwasher. Shower was nice & roomy & great to have a wardrobe - often not provided in one bedroom places. Nice lovely big tv as well.

Cons: Wasps were a pest but not a lot can be done about them. Bed was comfortable enough but as an arthritis sufferer higher & firmer one would improve it for me. Maybe also a handrail by the steps. These are all personal taste things though, so are just comments rather than anything negative. Really enjoyed stay as last time.

Pros: Church Farm Lodge was super clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything you need. It was located in a lovely setting with views of horses and to the side a private garden where birds and other wild life could be seen and enjoyed. Lovely en-suite with a big shower and a big comfortable bed for a goodnights sleep. We also had a lovely welcome pack with eggs, bacon, bread, milk, biscuit’s and tomatoes which we enjoyed.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect :)
