A picturesque location, quiet but close to old Leigh.

Pros: Quiet location. Caught the sun. Amazing sunsets. Good outdoor space. Warm. Tastefully fitted out. Xmas tree was a nice touch.

Cons: Entry instructions could have been a bit clearer but we managed to get in.

Quirky Place to Stay.

Pros: Our stay at The Pontoon was perfect. The property was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. It was lovely to sit outside on the decking and watch the tide ebbing and flowing. Easy walking distance to the railway station and into the old part of Leigh on Sea where we found plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. We had a pleasant 3 mile walk into Southend and caught the train back. Such a quirky place to stay. We loved it!

Cons: The sofa beds are quite small. Don't expect to get 2 adults on each, my 6ft sons needed one sofa bed each.
