Charming Seaside Cottage in Leigh-on-Sea

Fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Property location is fantastic. Close to beach and shops but peaceful and quiet. Host was quick to respond and very friendly and approachable. My dog loved the space.

Pros: The location was brilliant, the accommodation was great, very quirky - two bathrooms, plenty of room, enclosed front garden and back patio. A private drive for parking made it much easier for unpacking. There was a christmas tree, all decorated and lit up to welcome us on arrival.

Cons: Not a criticism, but the staircase is quite narrow and steep - not ideal for anyone with a mobility issue. The TV was only set up for streaming - there were no terrestrial channels available.

Pros: It was comfy and provided towels and things like toilet rolls

Cons: It was initially very cold and the thermostat wasnt working we got the heating working via the boiler in the end suite. The front door lock was also VERY stiff

Pros: Beautiful cottage close to where we needed to be for a couple of days.

Pros: The host was very welcoming via message before we arrived to ensure we had all the info we needed. The cottage is beautiful with the little painted windows and beams, it was so clean and basics were all provided. Very close to Leigh on sea town and it had a driveway for parking which was a bonus.

Pros: Easy parking outside. Very clean and beds comfortable. Good outside space the kitchen was well equipped everything needed was there This is a roomy property with secure back patio Perfect for dogs and people

Cons: There were sofa beds in the lounge which are not that comfortable ( like most sofa beds). My personal preference would be to have ordinary sofas in the lounge and this cottage would be perfect for me

Pros: Very spacious light and homely. Quiet setting Comfortable beds. Ample parking Amazing location minutes from Leigh Broadway Nice little touch with individual shower gel and shampoo provided. Fan provided.

Pros: The great location and the uniqueness of the property. Nice to have outdoor space.

Cons: Although the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean the kitchen and living area felt a little grimy.

Fabulous house for small group stay! Very clean, but bring your own towels

Pros: Bright, freshly decorated with own parking in a good location.

Cons: No towels for showering. Would have been good to know this in advance as no one brought a towel with them as you expect these to be provided when paying over £250 per night. Hob wasn’t working, but we used the microwave for our scrambled eggs instead.
