A Beautiful Country Cottage

Pros: The house was lovely, very clean, good facilities. Massive and very comfortable bed. Paul the host was very easy to communicate with. It's about 10 mins from Sutton Hoo which was the primary reason we went there.

Cons: The location took us by surprise a bit - the pictures imply it is right next to the river but it's actually a half hour walk to get there down some pretty dodgy country roads. The same goes for the pub pictured in the listing. I've also never stayed in a holiday home where a fireplace is listed as one of the amenities and yet they don't supply firewood.

Pros: Neat, tidy, clean & comfortable. Lots of unusual and interesting knick knacks

Cons: As there was a log burner, we thought that logs would be provided for the woodburner, the listing could perhaps clarify that guests need to purchase their own logs to use the woodburner.

Pros: Everything I expected it to be. The bed was huge, and the pillows were lovely and soft. Just be careful not to put salt in your coffee like I did!

Cons: Only negative was that the shower was electric and so the pressure wasn't great

Definitely recommend Paul the host was lovely venue is delightful and spacious with parking available

Pros: Lovely building with plenty of room so clean with all amenities Main bedroom and bed is huge 2nd room smaller but with a good size single bed

Cons: The only thing I feel I need to mention are the stairs - totally accept it’s an older building but had all mod coms ! Stairs are very steep with no bannister - and narrow treads - if you have mobility issues like my sister and I have, we struggled with them due to our balance difficulties

Pros: Peaceful location, garden looked very nice it would be good to visit in the summer, bed was comfortable and large.

Cons: The wood burner was very Smokey, bathroom was downstairs, shower was not very powerful.

We spent an idyllic few days in comfort in a beautiful location

Pros: The location was perfect for a few days’ retreat: peaceful. The internet connection was excellent. There was a safe place to park the car. The cottage was well-equipped. The woodburner made it nice and cosy. There were good pubs within half an hour walking distance. The host was attentive but not intrusive.

Cons: The shower pressure and temperature were inconsistent. We told the owner who was going to look into it.

Pros: It's a sweet little cottage and it had everything we needed. We liked it a lot. The bed was particularly comfortable.

Pros: Stunning property...so homely comfortable and cosy....only one night but would love to come again for longer.
