Lime Kiln Quay Cottage

Pros: Cosy. Clean. Host very accomodating. Left sundries for our arrival which was a nice gesture

Cons: Stairs were steep. Shower room with toilet downstairs which is a problem throughout the night.

Pros: Querky little cottage, clean and very well presented. Perfect location especially as we had dogs

Pros: A perfect cosy cottage within easy walking distance of the waterfront and town centre. We were there for Christmas and the hosts had given it a good Christmas feel.

Cons: I wouldn't have changed anything but the steep staircase may not suit some.

Cozy cottage in Woodbridge

Pros: Gorgeous little cottage in a great location. It's warm and cozy, well equipped for 3 people to cook and relax. Great communication with Ash before and after our stay ensuring we had everything we needed. The cottage has a dog friendly garden . Parking is on a first come basis however we were always able to park which is a luxury in Woodbridge. We will definitely book again when visiting family. Appreciated milk bread and biscuits on arrival along with a Christmas tree. Even the local neighbours made us feel welcome.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Cottage was very clean, tidy and had everything you could need. We had a lovely stay. Ash was only a text message away if we needed him, not that we did. Woodbridge is a lovely town. Supermarkets, lovely bakery and pubs are all within walking distance. The quay is on your doorstep and a lovely public footpath run right outside.

Cons: There is a train track that runs close by, but provided little disturbance. Parking is listed as private, but is actually down a mud track and isn't within sight of the cottage and is in an unlit area. There is space for about 4 cars there and it is shared with other properties on the quay and is provided on a first come, first serve basis. We actually got questioned by an owner of a neighbouring property, what we were doing parking there. Turned out to be a lovely bloke, but parking situation was not expected. Also, the directions provided on booking.com take you to a different property. So be aware of this.

A cosy and very comfortable stay, close to river for walks and town for shops. Highly recommended.

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage, great location. Cottage very warm and clean with excellent quality bedding and towels provided. Well equipped kitchen. Exceptionally efficient communication from Ash about anything we asked, very prompt and helpful replies.

Cons: Front door could do with a heavy door curtain for warmth and privacy (as a small porthole window in door). Also, blinds in addition to curtains at lounge and main bedroom would be good.
