A livery overnight stay for Valentines. Lovely valentines touches and amazing food.

Pros: The room was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious! Highly recommend.

Cons: No lift available, no desk for reception & breakfast is only serves until 9am at the weekend.

Cons: Would be great if there had been a spar with treatments.Hot meal would have been better,rather than a grazing table.Especially in winter time.

Amazing hotel

Pros: The most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. Beautiful decor throughout hotel. Incredibly comfortable bed. Huge bathroom. Fabulous friendly staff. Tea and cake in the afternoon. Tasty breakfast.

Pros: Staff are incredibly accommodating. I book for my partner when he works away, the staff always ensure he has one of the rooms he likes - with outdoor access. Super comfy beds, immaculate rooms and great customer service all round.

Pros: Beautiful property well maintained and looked after. The stunning attention to detail with the landscape exterior grounds were amazing a must see to visit! Wow factor ! The lovely warm welcome we received from family member Antonio was lovely. The interior was very clean spotless and very neat & tidy. This is truly an enchanting stunning well preserved Historic building breath taking a must see for all !

Cons: We stayed in the Deluxe room and booked an evening meal for 7.30pm. Upon entering the restaurant our table was located to a couple not booked so we then had to wait 45mins later for our booked table. When deciding from the main menu dish of 4 items we were told the veal had all gone leaving 3 items to choose from? We waited some time for staff to assist whom was over busy with customers, no one was seen managing the restaurant. At one point three other staff were hanging about the bar area and not working as a team putting the customer first and not helping their team member whom was struggling with the waiting service. This was sad to see. Upon leaving as there’s no reception my husband was looking everywhere for a member of staff so we could pay our bill he knocked on staff door 3 times as well suddenly a lady took him to a lovely young man to pay. There needs to be a reception with a bell.

Pros: Very clean tidy setting. Grounds very well kept.Rooms very well kitted out. Communal area clean and tidy.

Cons: Check in time very regimented, 4.30 on the dot and not before. Check out time 10.00am on the dot, this was advertised. No reception desk of sorts. Had to ring on the door bell or knock on a closed office door. Another guest let us in which seemed odd. Paying premium rate yet seemed to be very little interaction with guests in our experience. Given verbal direction to room, asked question and reply was a bit curt in my opinion. Didn't feel warm and friendly.

Beautiful place to stay. Exceptional!

Pros: This is a beautiful property which has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. The gardens are beautifully maintained with views across to Ely Cathedral. The internal rooms are very welcoming and there are several enticing areas to sit outside. Staff were excellent and the food was of a very high quality at a reasonable price. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfy. We absolutely loved this hotel

Pros: Lovely gardens and beautiful facilities. Stunning bathroom. And the staff were brilliant.

Cons: The BBQ meal (cooked indoors as it was raining) was very nice, but the chicken was quite dry. We also didn’t realise we had to request a kettle for the room until we were in our pjs!
