The Swan - A Colombo Edition Hotel

Pros: Friendly staff, location, comfortable beds, warm, modern bathroom. Good food. Location on the river.

Cons: Decking needs lick of paint but that is being over critical as its the only thing that let's it down slightly.

Altogether a very pleasant and relaxing and convenient stay. Shall be staying again.

Pros: Having a balcony was lovely, and the room was a generous size. The shower absolutely excellent. The staff very friendly and so helpful. Easy walk into town, great Indian Restaurant The Jamadi. Friendly pub. Ideal to catch the train to Ely which takes only 10 minutes for a visit to the Cathedral. Didn't have chance to eat at the Swan but all looked very good what we saw. Very reasonably priced.

Peaceful and pleasant

Pros: The scenery and the staff were amazing for the price we could not of asked for more plus the steak was amazing. We have booked to stay again the 13-15th march for work would not go anywhere else.

Cons: It was cold in the restaurant as the heating system had failed but they did there best to find an alternative solution in the mean time but the room was lovely and warm so not a huge issue.

Great little find

Pros: Stayed last minute, the room was clean and comfortable with everything we expected and needed. The staff were exceptional! Bobby and Ellen were working and they were friendly and attentive, they made us feel really welcome which is what makes this place so good. We would definitely go back.

Pros: Really can't complain about anything for the price we paid. The hotel needs investment but the service was good and loved the balcony room overlooking the river.

Cons: There were some maintenance issues. The room heating wasn't working but a fan heater was provided.

Exactly as we requested. We would stay again.

Pros: The amazing two young ladies who worked in the bar, they were polite, extremely hard working, and friendly. One young lady's name is Tenisha, unfortunately i didn't get the name of the other young lady, but they are both an incredible asset to the owners of this pub/hotel.

Cons: No lighting in the wardrobe area, it was quite dark to see into the cupboards and the safe.

Enjoyable Stay

Pros: The location is beautiful. Unfortunately the weather being bad we didn't make use of it all. The bedroom was nice worth comfortable bed. The shower was amazing, just a shame the heating wasn't working. The food is amazing!

Cons: The only thing I would say is that it's a shame breakfast isn't served in the pub. They provide food and I seppuku have liked the option to have breakfast, but not in the bedroom.

Pros: Location is great with a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the river. Staff were very welcoming.

Cons: It would have been good to have the option of a breakfast on Sunday as the local cafes didn't open until 10am at the earliest.

Restful , relaxing night.

Pros: The setting was beautiful. Restaurant on site for dinner.

Cons: Walking past the wheely bins to get to the room.

Pros: Me and my fiance stayed for a few nights and was absolutely beautiful xx
