Loved it, the only issue was lack of parking space.

Pros: Food was good. Location ideal for walking. Comfortable bed. Lovely traditional bar and welcoming log fire, plus a good choice of beers. The 17th century building has lots of character.

Cons: Bathroom decor starting to look a little tired. Parking space is limited and we sometimes had to park along the road from the hotel.

Worth visiting

Pros: The building is amazing, the staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. The food was great. Parking was good.

Cons: The window in our room didn't close completely, letting in a cold draft. The toilet door would not shut completely so couldn't be locked.

Lovely country Inn.

Pros: Location for what we wanted to do. Staff very friendly and great service. Lovely cosy bar.

Cons: Rooms were a bit cold in the evenings. Radiators only seemed to come on in a morning.

Dog friendly and comfortable, meals could improve but would stay there again.

Pros: Lovely room, location good for dog walking, relaxed friendly place. Lovely waitress every morning.

Cons: Meals were average, first breakfast was not very hot, every breakfast the bacon was over cooked and too crispy to eat. Evening meals were better, although the xmas roast potato's were not very well cooked.

Cosy pub with excellent facilities.

Pros: Just perfect for my stay with my dog . Great facilities in the room fridge and microwave. Large comfortable bed with access to courtyard. Food was wholesome and good value. Nice pint of London Pride too. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: I didn’t dislike any thing.
