Beautiful comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff

Pros: The room was clean, spacious and very well thought out. Lovely modern interior design. Comfortable bed and the staff were all very friendly. We were attending an event at the pub so the location was excellent. The food at the event was excellent and would definitely recommend eating in the pub The rooms were very secure and felt safe.

Cons: It's a shame there wasn't breakfast included onsite but we did got to Dukes as recommended which was nice but obviously an additional cost.

Pros: Clean and spacious room, with a really comfortable bed.

Cons: No curtain at the door which let in a lot of light in the mornings.

A nice place to stay.

Pros: Great location and a lovely large room, very clean and large comfortable bed.

Cons: Only 1 toilet roll and needed one a 6am. Could do with a shelf in the bathroom and a bin. Beware of Staying in St Oysth as I tried for 2 hours to get a taxi to take me to a wedding reception nearby. Not the hotels fault. It's Uber who kept cancelling trips.

Spacious accommodation

Pros: The room was very large. The bed soft and the walk in shower with drench head, excellent.

Cons: We stayed 2 days over Christmas. No breakfast provided nor was it available in the village. If the room had a mircowave and worktop with a sink, we could have at least made breakfast.

Cons: Only 1 bus every hour into Clacton on sea

Hidden Gem

Pros: The rooms were very clean, extremely well appointed with decent sized TV and fridge towels etc. I had a minor issue with noise but the staff quickly upgraded me to a larger room which eliminated the issue. Food was good quality and value for money.

Cons: I could hear the guest next door whenever he was on the phone, I’m not sure whether it was due to the dividing walls or the fact he was a foghorn. However the staff were quick to resolve the situation.

Beautiful room, perfect for a short stay

Pros: Beautiful room, very clean! My only worry was that it is close to the pub, but you can’t hear a thing! It was a Saturday night I’ve stayed, but it was nice and quiet!

Excellent stay. Very pleasant

Pros: Easy communication with the venue and very quick response. Easy access to the comfortable, spacious and well equipped room in a quiet, secure and private garden area with chairs and table outside the room. The pub is lovely and staff very pleasant. Would definitely rebook this place.
