Bury St Edmunds - Apartment - Sleeps 2 - Parking

Lovely, quiet, spacious apartment, but just too cold.

Cons: It was always cold. The heating worked briefly one lunchtime, but I couldn't get it to work for the life of me, on timer or manual. This in turn meant that I couldn't do any laundry, and even having a wash was uncomfortable. I had to keep going out to warm shops. Fortunately, the weather wasn't too cold or it would've been quite intolerable. The television is great regarding its size and channels available, but it was the most complicated one I've ever used. Trying to get keys out of a lockbox in the dark was somewhat frustrating too. Loads of dog ends by the Mews gate was hardly welcoming either. Decor is a bit grey and depressing too.

Fab location in the centre of town

Pros: The apartment was easy to find (we had clear instructions on how to find it prior to arrival) and got the keys from the key box without a hitch. Apartment itself was as described online/in pictures and was located on a lovely street with lots of coffee shops and boutiques right in the centre of town.

Cons: Can't complain, if I had to suggest something it would be for a few more hanging hooks around the apartment for towels/coats!

Pros: Well equipped. Very clean. Good directions on how to get in. Code was delivered several days in advance so you were well prepared.

Will be our first choice for our next visit to Bury St Edmunds.

Pros: Great location, spacious & comfortable apartment, well equipped kitchen, very helpful host. Nearby on-street parking (visitor permits provided).

Cons: Great kitchen but no dining facilities. Folding table and chairs (there's plenty of room!) would make this great apartment even better.

Great place to stay

Pros: It was right in the middle of town but so quiet , really nice place . Was so pleased with parking , parked right outside every day .

Exactly what was needed from a last minute weekend trip.

Pros: Very good use of the small space, and was nice and warm, considering how cold it was outside! Parking permits were handy considering the parking in Bury is awful!

Cons: The shower was tricky to work, either scalding or cold. Took a while to figure out.

A nice short break in an attractive town.

Pros: Location good. Property clean and compact. Quiet at night
