Perfect for a stay in Frinton

Pros: A very nice place to stay, we had a great few days. Very comfortable throughout. Perfectly positioned for walking into town or walking along the beach. We'll definitely be booking again.

Cons: A minor point but the door isn't obvious when you look down the right side of the building. Perhaps a Mermaid Cottage sign on the wall above the bathroom window might help. On the other hand it might be just me who failed to see the door first time.

Comfy but basic

Pros: Fabulous location for the beach, Frinton centre & the tennis club. The studio was comfy & quiet, great shower & comfy bed.

Cons: I'd maybe misread in the details that the only cooking facilities was a microwave, toaster & kettle. The washing up facilities was a bowl filled via the bathroom tap. There were great restaurants nearby though in Frinton & Walton on the naze for dinner & breakfasts.

Best place to stay in friton!!!

Pros: It was lovely and clean l, very cosy and convenient would 100% stay again me and my partner were over the moon with it

Cons: Cant really fault the property its worth every penny i suppose if i was to say only couple things but its not major would be to have a sink to wash up and perhaps a cooker

Fabulous find in Frinton!

Pros: Amazing host who checked on us and made recommendations. Great facilities, roomy and airy with amazing parking. Literally a hop, skip and jump to the beach and local amenities! Could recommend this spot enough. I will be back!

Comfortable and convenient

Pros: Location fabulous and off road parking is easy. Nice shower.

Cons: Welcome pack only had decaff coffee and though we brought our own filter coffee, there is no cafetiere. Washing up facility is a bit odd.

Delightful and comfortable annex right by the seafront - perfect for our stay

Pros: Super easy to park and access the property. It so happened our host was in the driveway when we arrived and he was lovely and welcoming. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed comfy. The small seating area and TV was an extra bonus. The shower was very luxurious.

Cons: A few of the sockets did not work but there were ample so it was easy to make it work.

We loved our short stay at Mermaid cottage and hope to stay again.

Pros: Excellent location with sea views and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed and sofa and good shower. Met by friendly host and easy communication.

Brief, but very enjoyable.

Pros: Location is excellent. Frontline access to the beach & greensward. Very quiet. Very clean. Hotel like services. Everything was as described.

Cons: A little bijou, no kitchen sink.

We had a brilliant time at mermaid cottage lovely beach walks and drinks and meals all within walking distance.

Pros: Great location, very clean and cosy place to stay.

Cons: An iron in the property would be good.
