Pros: Wonderful place for a family break. Lots to do for the kids, the lake was great for paddleboarding. The owner's are really welcoming and helpful. We loved it!

Peaceful wholesome getaway

Pros: Lovely property beautifully maintained. The site is small but that suited us perfectly as meant that the children could run around freely. Everything is included and the hosts are super helpful.

A wonderful find!

Pros: Mark (the owner) greeted us as we arrived, he was very welcoming and showed us around. The Lodge was well equipped with all you could need and felt comfy and cosy. The children loved the fact there was a play area and they also had bikes which could be used as they wished. The area was beautiful and the lake area was separated by a fence which allowed the children to have freedom to play without the worry. There were restaurants locally, which were a 5 minute drive away. We had a fantastic break and enjoyed the time together as a family in a beautiful setting. We will definitely be booking again!

Pros: The location is beautiful, and there's so much to do bikes, boats, table tennis, pool table and a very lovely BBQ area we came on our own but will definitely be back with the kids! Fantastic evening. Thank you Sam and Francesca

Peaceful, full of birds and evening mist rolling by, toasty in the evening round the fire.

Pros: Well-made wooden lodges with excellent showers and good cooking facilities (sharp knives). The Witch's hut barbecue was a huge hit with the children. The host, Mark, took time to make sure we were settled in and ready. There is lots of space for play, a croquet set, football field and some bikes for loan.

Cons: Almost nothing, other than a hard patch down the centre of the sofa bed!
