Pros: The location, the pub is very beautiful and the food was great.

Quiet Location, friendly pub

Pros: Lovely quiet location on the estuary with nice walks along the river. Friendly staff, reasonably priced menu. Close to touristy things to do. We stayed specifically to visit RHS Hyde Hall Gardens which were only 7 miles away.

Very pleasant stay, would recommend

Pros: Rooms were well appointed and decorated. Staff were very helpful.

Cons: Intermittent buzzing noise was a bit irritating. We were in the Buzzard room

Three very pleasant nights.

Pros: Breakfasts were great. No cereals or fruit but a good selection of cooked breakfasts. Comfortable room. Great shower. Excellent heating. Evening meals OK. Good choice of beers. Good location for walks along the river. Able to charge our electric car in the car park. (45p/kWh)

Cons: No marmalade for breakfast! The pie of the day wasn't great. Very hard crust.
