Pros: Great location as close to Cambridge Junction concert venue; very clean and quiet. It has a parking space. George is very pleasant and accommodating.

Excellent value

Pros: Very clean. Staff friendly. Shared bathroom was immaculate. Curtains shut out the light and it was quiet. Only a 4 minute walk from Cambridge Junction 2 Venue and lots of eateries.

Cons: A small tube of shower gel and shampoo would have been good, although hand wash was supplied in the bathroom.

Great value for money close to the station

Pros: The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short walk from the station and local shops, there are restaurants and take aways just on the opposite street. The rooms were very spacious, beds comfy and everything was clean. Shared bathroom is freshly refurbished, there's also a separate toilet. There was a bathroom sink in the room and a kettle with complimentary coffee and tea bags. Great communication with the owner + an off-road parking space.

Cons: A bit bigger pressure in the shower would be great, but it wasn't really an issue!

Would stay here again

Pros: Very quiet, we saw guests from 2 other rooms but didn't hear them. We didn't meet the proprietor until the morning but he made check in smooth and easy. I booked Abbeyfield because it was only ¼ mile from the music venue. We had takeaway from across the road for dinner in our room before going out . Everything went well.

Cons: Not having an en-suite ( but toilet and bathroom were immediately outside our room and wash hand basin in the room .)

Pros: George the owner was there to greet us on arrival and told us about the facilities to use. He was very pleasant and welcoming. The room was just perfect for an overnight stay for a early hospital appointment the following morning. Close by was shops and restaurants to chose from within a couple of minutes walk. Parking was great directly outside the Guesthouse

Cons: There wasn't really anything I didn't like at all

Pros: The room was great value, clean and perfect for our short stay. The bathroom was clean. The owner was also very friendly.

Pros: Building needs revamp but the rooms and shower nice

Brilliant value, well located comfortable accommodation.

Pros: I expected it to be minimalist which was fine. in fact it had a small desk and a screen making it practical to do a few emails. the bathroom was directly opposite and no real problem that it wasn't en suite. Possibly could have done with some shower gel in one of those dispensers. But it was excellent value, great to have somewhere to park the car and extremely convenient locations. It's a short walk to the Earl of Derby where there's good value food and drink too. Absolutely ideal, friendly reception from George and I'd book again without hesitation.

Good value budget for Cambridge

Pros: The guest house is very well locaed. I walked there from teh train station. It is close to a coffee shop, Indian take-awy, Chinese take-away, kebab shop and a couple of convenience stores. The reception was efficient (I came on time). The room was large and clean. It was very well priced.

Cons: The welcome tray was a bit miserly!

Great value for money.

Pros: Person accommodated well - I arrived late which they helped with and there was an easy check-out. It was also quite central and right next to where I was going.

Cons: N/A - it was really good value for money.
