Peaceful stay in the countryside

Pros: Its peaceful location and views of the countryside.

Perfect, cosy escape to the country.

Pros: We had the best stay at The Hayloft! Carly was a perfect host, giving clear instructions and even decorating for my husbands birthday which was a lovely surprise. The house was cosy, super clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the countryside location, spotting lots of wildlife out on our walks & even from the window! Would 100% recommend a stay here - our family loved it.

Cons: Nothing, it was fab!

Pros: Spotlessly clean, everything you could need for a great stay . Breakfast out the front watching the pheasants in the field. Perfect location for Headigham Castle, the beautiful Finchingfield village.

Pros: Property was in a great location for us as we were attending a wedding at Hedingham Castle. Our host was super lovely and had even stocked the kitchen with fresh bread and eggs. Overall great stay and would come here again!

2 night stay

Pros: The whole experience was exceptional, very clean, smelled wonderful, lots of little extras to help eg bread tea/coffee etc, beautiful surroundings, and horses to greet you. Extra bedding was there, potties, so much I can't remember

Cons: We didn't find a clothes horse, we did use the washing machine and dried the clothes on the wire fence out side as the weather was warm, apologies if there was a dryer hidden away and we didn't see it.

Idyllic, tranquil fresh and clean

Pros: AMAZING LITTLE COTTAGE, I’m very fussy and the place was immaculate, facilities spot on, lovely fresh ironed sheets. The owners were friendly but let us get on with our stay in the idyllic setting. I booked this for a wedding in Hedingham Castle and the location was spot on. So grateful for our stay …. So try it you will not be disappointed. The only downside was I had to leave, I could have moved in FOREVER ❤️❤️

Lovely well equipped cottage in beautiful location

Pros: Very clean, warm, comfortable and located in a peaceful and lovely location. It was extremely well equipped with good Wi-fi and TV. We particularly liked that there were two separate bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath.

Cons: Nothing.

It was really pleasant and I’m glad we stayed there.

Pros: Clean, well equipped, quiet, pretty location, welcoming, in the countryside.

Cons: The tap in the bathroom basin squirts out over the edges and the sofa’s are not particularly comfortable, but I know they are a style lots of people choose.

Fantastic weekend

Pros: Great layout, very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Location brilliant on a farm down a long track so view from house is horses, rabbits and pheasants. We were 4 adults attending a wedding at Hedringham Castle 5 minutes drive away and had plenty of space to get ready.
