Rose Cottage

Amazing little find with the most beautiful garden!

Pros: The garden, the garden, the garden! Just stunning! Really unique holiday home, clean and cosy, perfectly positioned and everything you needed.

Pros: Rose cottage was like home from home, everything you could need, and more, lots of thought and care gone into how to make it a lovely stay. The garden was gorgeous. pics don't do it justice. Our little dachshund loved it. The prossecco, biscuits, and flowers were a lovely welcoming touch. Everything provided, including tea, coffee, milk and towels. A great place to stay, even a pub next door and we were allowed to park in the car park. There are some stunning villages and scenery nearby and a short ride to Ipswich and Felixstowe. My daughter lives in Ipswich so a perfect place to stay when we visit, we'll be back!!

A quirky stay in the Suffolk countryside

Pros: The property was very quirky with a lovely garden. There is a gas hob and the TV has a good range of channels, including Netflix.

Cons: The property is old and some doorways and beams are quite low. This is not a complaint but you could bang your head if you are tall.

Pros: It's a cozy cottage in a lovely quiet location, yet close to several towns and all their services. Many wonderful places to visit within striking distance, and lovely quiet walks nearby. Welcome pack with the flowers was a lovely surprise! It was lovely to read a bit about history of the building, the info folder was very good. Kitchen was well equipped and with some essentials, and beds comfortable. TV has more choice than we had time, and the garden is amazing. I don't think enough is made of the garden as a selling point! If only we'd had the weather to enjoy it better! WiFi was good too. Pub right next door (no rowdy customers while we were there) for a quick drink. Sadly the kitchen was closed while we were there. We thoroughly recommend the Fox Inn in

Cons: As a tall family we bumped our heads on the beams frequently. Washing machine would be a great addition. I appreciate the ceilings are low and it is difficult to find a spot for the shower head to hook on, however it would have helped. Shower curtain could do with being shorter as not to be under foot while showering. Please be aware of single pane glass windows in case you are a light sleeper. As we arrived the cottage had a distinct smell of wet dog - many previous visitors have brought their four legged friends, as a positive the garden is perfect for a doggy run!

Pros: The accommodation was very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and a great attraction to my little dog. The surrounding area was nice and convenient for the location I needed to visit for the time I was there. Excellent pub next door with friendly landlord. Highly recommended accommodation.
