A place for the real chill time get away.

Pros: The cottage was very welcoming, clean, and quiet. A lovely kitchen and living room area, plenty of sockets and beautiful bathrooms with heated floors. Bedrooms also fitted with flatscreen television with en suits. One of the rooms has a bath! Jacuzzi really warm in all weather, well looked after. Big private parking, Washer and dryer avaliable too. Main shops a short drive away. Ideal get away to forget about your home surroundings. Central heating is great! A nice open light building, don't feel cramped at all. If you like jet aircrafts, then a win win! Seeing them is a bonus as incredible fly pasts located at Lakenheath. Nearby Aviation museams are also nearby, and highly definitely recommend RAF Duxford for a full day out. The owner is near by if need extra items like towels, dishwasher tablets. Nice local animals near by that roam freely, but looked after by the owners. Wifi is excellent.

Cons: Getting to the property on arrival day, I would recommend arriving with daylight, and making sure you get as good enough detailed map=directions where the cottage is, because the moment you approach Thetford, or more so the road leading upto Marshell Cottage, there is no signal at all to contact the owner. So as we did, just being practical, was to fortunately think ahead, from owner and your own best map app to find where to go. Otherwise especially when dark, going round in circles finding this beautiful cottage. No reception isnt the owners fault, its area its located. Saying that, wifi is in the cottage, but if you use your phone at all or have to use without wifi use, it wont diel out, as no connection, and no incoming calls. Again, not the owners fault, its the area. If you don't like jets at all, then wrong place to be. The cottage is right on finals for landing at RAF Lakenheath, and it may be bothersome. USB ports are only in the bedrooms, so advise to bring extra ports with you if required for livingroom comfort. No dvd player, but may not be important as SKY Q is avaliable and avaliable in all 3 rooms. There is no electric shaver socket in either bathrooms, so that'll include if you have an electric toothbrush device.

Pros: Marshall cottage start to finish was absolutely amazing, Hosts are so helpful, friendly and the cottage is absolutely stunning.

Pros: The hot tub, the spaciousness, the decor, furnishings, the area, cleanliness

Cons: We had a problem adjusting the hot water for the showers
