Lovely family getaway for Christmas!
Pros: Hosts are very reachable and helpful at all times. Lovely decorated rooms and very clean. Hot tub is absolutely huge! Pretty much everything provided in the kitchen! Managed to cook a delicious Christmas dinner and homemade trifle and had all utensils and supplies (bowls, dishes, prongs, mixing bowls etc) needed for it all. Love the vast variety of hot beverages that is provided!
Cons: Not so keen on the washing lines in the conservatory to be used for drying clothes during the winter months. It may be useful in the summer, but it was so cold in there and a lot of moisture that the clothes didn’t dry. Perhaps providing a 3 tier clothes airer could be helpful to have washing dry in front of a radiator in the warm house. There is a tumble dryer but some items I prefer to dry naturally due to materials.

Pros: Everything is clean and tidy. The house is very spacious and has everything you need. I really liked the house and the communication with the owner. I highly recommend it to those who want to relax. But for those who want to visit something around, there is not much.

Pros: The Forest House is stunning, in a beautiful setting and quiet road. Chelsi our host had thought of every detail needed to make our stay perfect. The house was clean and well presented. We took 2 80 year olds with us who enjoyed the stay. Great communication before and during our stay. Would highly recommend booking The Forest House. Will be booking again. Chelsi thank you for making our family holiday so enjoyable

Perfect
Pros: The forest house is in a great location peaceful and quiet but a short drive to amenities . The house was perfect for our family weekend. The hot tub was amazing and the gym a real bonus. Everything has been well thought out to make your stay exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and we would definitely return.
Cons: We loved everything about the forest house.

Great place!
Pros: The house was light, airy, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We enjoyed siting in the beautiful garden for breakfast and other meals. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable sofa and arm chairs in front of the 'cinema screen'! We loved how clean everything was. We enjoyed how peaceful it was and the beautiful trees in the garden. The house was very well equipped, with various drinks and cleaning items. It would have been nice to have some milk and biscuits in the fridge for that drink on arrival, but we appreciated the toilet rolls. We enjoyed being able to use 2 of the 4 bedrooms and having ample bedding and towels. We enjoyed the use of 3 bathrooms.
Cons: I didn't like all the scents, the air freshener type things all around the house esp in the conservatory, but kept opening the outside door, which helped! But we could still smell it a bit in the garden. However, it was a small thing and can easily be sorted. The smell of rubber was quite strong too from the gym area, but again, minor and keeping the door shut helped. This didn't spoil our holiday. The rooms upstairs were so hot and we were so glad there were ceiling fans installed! We felt the price was expensive for us, being just the two of us and felt that maybe the cost reflected the use of the hot tub and gym and bbq facilities and because we didn't need to use any of these or wish to use them, maybe this could be reflected in the price if we book again in the future?

Highly recommend a stay at this location
Pros: Large TV, good tea and coffee available. Nice jacuzi and comfortable beds
Cons: No stair gate for young children
