We had a great short stay in Thorpeness everything was perfect

This was the perfect stay for us, two couples. The house is very spacious and comfortable.

Pros: The location is perfect, walking distance to the local pub, cafe and mere. Also the long walk to Aldeburgh is great

Cons: The kitchen needs to have plates, bowls and mugs replenished. The house can have six guests but the dinning table and garden table only have four chairs.

Pros: Lovely spacious bedrooms. Excellent location. Everything worked!

Cons: Sitting /dining area is small/ really only suits if for 3/4 people. We were 3 people working in the table with laptops and it wouldn’t be large enough for another.

Excellent property, with all our needs catered for at an excellent price. Would book again.

Pros: Location was perfect as we were golfing and could walk if we wanted, it was quiet and close to the beach

Great location and very comfortable!

Pros: The house was a short walk to cafes, a pub and the sea and a lovely longer walk to Aldeburgh.

Very quite location , nice pub around the corner with good food, beach 5 min walk away.

Pros: Self check in , keys easy assessable no problems Property was excellent and would definitely stay again. Stay in Suffolk staff were extremely helpfull.

Cons: Smart TV was old and could do with upgrading due to apps not working etc . Normal TV viewings was fine .

Great family holiday.

Pros: Wonderful location. Clean modern house with outside space. Comfortable beds with good linen. Plenty of parking. Near to beach, Dolphin pub, The Meare and cafes

Pros: Clean. Very well equipped. Complete kitchen with dish washer, toaster, etc…. Near to the beach. Only 10 min by car to Tesco or other supermarkets.

Cons: We had a lot of rain and the road was completely flooded one day. It was not possible for some hours to leave the parking.

Fantastic long weekend

Pros: The property itself was very comfortable and clean. Location was excellent, plenty to do and experience in Thorpeness and surrounding areas. The area felt very safe and family friendly, great cycle routes.

Cons: Although the double beds were very comfortable, the same could not be said for the single beds as they did not have mattress toppers and the mattress was only covered with a sheet! The window catches were also very stiff and made it hard to open the windows.
