The Bell Inn

The Bell Inn is located in Thorpe le Soken. Pros: Had a great stay at this lovely Inn! Very comfortable, and having a bath is a plus nowadays! The food, especially the breakfast was great, highly recommend the American style pancakes with bacon. Very friendly staff and the owner is lovely.

Great historical building, great food and a wonderful atmosphere.

Pros: Great 500 year old historic building , very good location . Very close to the seaside towns of Frinton, Walton on Naze and Holland on sea. The Bell Inn has great staff, delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.

A great stay in a gem of a place wish we had been there longer

Pros: This is a gem of a place .Friendly staff great room and the food was absolutely wonderful Breakfast all fresh produce and dinner cooked to perfection Would without a doubt stay here again It was good to see a buzzing bar clearly well supported locally.

Cons: Nothing could have been better it exceeded our expectations

Pros: Food was lovely, nice fish n chips for dinner and lovely pancakes for breakfast. Large portions and nice beer. Room was nice, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Quirky room but something different and enjoyable with lots of history. Worth a visit.

Pros: Lovely really friendly Staff , nice pub an great food. Our ensuite was spotless and modern. Nice view of the church from the Bedroom window.

Cons: First impression as you walk in the bedroom, Carpets were quite grubby.

A very warm welcome from the staff at The Bell Inn. An extremely enjoyable weekend.

Pros: We stayed 2 nights at The Bell Inn, Thorpe Le Soken. It was in the perfect location for the Wedding we were attending. It has parking opposite. The staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome. Although we didn’t eat in the restaurant, there was a good menu and was busy. There are tables and seating outside overlooking the church at the back. The weather was really warm so we had breakfast outside which was excellent. The bedrooms are very clean with comfortable beds & linen. We had a great weekend.

Cons: I couldn’t fault it.
