Three Tuns Ashwell

Lovely country pub, great food/breakfast but there were a few issues.

Pros: Handy for what we needed as attending a party in the village. The food is good and the staff were really helpful.

Cons: Just a couple of little issues. The towels are really small and there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. When we came back at Midnight there were no outside lights around the pub and the village is also very dark. Luckily we had our phones otherwise we would not have been able to see. Also one of our party has mobility issues and the stairs are very steep and quite awkward.

A quaint and comfortable village pub. We love staying here.

Pros: Situated in a beautiful village. Love its quirkiness. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is quality and deliciousness. Staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful.

Countryside pub; will return when summer comes

Pros: Warm welcome. Spacious room. Good English pub food ...evening and breakfast. Accessible car park. Large garden. Covered outside area. Winter meal deals.

Cons: Its a lovely old coaching inn but that comes with equally old, twisty stairs. Bit perilous for less able..but the staff took our bags up so made it easier.

Pros: Comfortable bed in spacious room,good shower and food was very nice

Cons: Could of been warmer but nothing major

A good country inn, providing honest accommodation, and with friendly staff, and an open fire.

Pros: Fabulous breakfast, full English was great, and the mushrooms on scrambled eggs of toast even better

Cons: We managed the stairs, but they were pretty challenging; glad there was only one storey to go up.

Pros: Lovely rooms, very clean. Staff very friendly. Fresh milk & bottled water in fridge. Breakfast was very nice too. Would definately stay again.

Cons: The staircase up to rooms was a bit steep, not for the elderly!

Pros: Cut above the average, including a fridge with OJ, milk and some breakfast items.

A peaceful, rural stay in a lovely village Inn.

Pros: We’ve stayed at the Three Tuns a couple of times now. We love the quirkiness and the olde worlde feel to the place, the comfortable rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very good and they have specials nights too. The village of Ashwell is lovely with its old buildings and beautiful church.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

It exceeded our expectations having purely booked for convenience and price

Pros: It was a convenient stop over for one night. A good pub meal breakfast at a very reasonable price

Cons: There was nothing for us but I could see the stairs might be tricky for some

Pros: Welcoming staff good full English breakfast and complimentary stocked fridge in room

Cons: Stair case steep and awkward for a disabled person
