Lovely stay, cosy atmosphere

Pros: Lovely and stylish, clean and contemporary. Perfect for a little getaway and a short 15 min car journey from bury st Edmund’s

Cons: The radiators were not working but the staff helped by bringing some portable heaters for our nights stay

Pros: Well maintained, nice decor, comfy bed, good bathroom shower and nice and warm

Fantastic

Pros: An excellent one night stay. Small but exceptionally equipped rooms, quiet and comfortable. Fantastic customer service and a very welcoming and knowledgeable team in the pub. After a 5 mile walk, the pub was a perfect place to relax before dinner. Dinner in the pub - high-end pub food well presented and delicious. Perhaps a bit expensive but a good value wine list. Breakfast was great, lots of local produce and a very good selection.

Lovely stay

Pros: Lovely accommodation and really good meal in the Bull. Great breakfast had a lovely stay.

Cons: Sitting room furniture was very pub like not keen on the squeaky leather and cheap cushions although on the whole the accommodation was beautifully decorated and facilities very good. Evening meal was very good but a touch expensive for a pub.

Pros: The staff were excellent — genuinely helpful and friendly throughout. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall. I also really enjoyed the food at the sister property.

Cons: The minibar extras were priced disproportionately high, which made the value for money feel skewed more toward appearance than actual guest comfort or generosity.

A relaxing and wonderful stay to celebrate our 10yr wedding anniversary.

Pros: Everything at the Pear Tree Inn was exceptional. The room was exactly as described in the photos and cleanliness was the best I have ever experienced. The attention to detail really stood out. The housekeeper does a wonderful job here. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was exceptional. I would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.
