Very clean & nicely appointed property. Would have liked a bedside table and light in my room

Pros: Very convenient location, nicely furnished, very quiet and easy access looking forward to return stay on 2 occasions in April

Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Comfortable and convenient

Pros: Well decorated and comfortable. Central location. Views of Abbey gardens (from top floor room). Host responsive to queries

Cons: Sustainability/ eco: shame the whole back garden has been paved over (for those interested in nature, from the window of the top floor room there was a great selection of birds to see in the surrounding gardens).

Comfortable and I slept well, and look forward to staying again, and would recommend the stay

Pros: Not having the time to enjoy the the full experience, facilities, I was very pleased with the experience

Pros: If you’re planning a stay in Waltham Abbey, I highly recommend Abbey Rooms – it’s clean, with nice spacious rooms, and very close to the town centre and the large park.

Pros: Beautiful house and rooms loved the kitchen. Host is a lovely attentive man and answers phone anytime you need him he's there.

Pros: Great location, restaurants close and cafe round the corner providing lovely breakfast Lovely clean room and bathroom. Spacious room. Had a very pleasant stay.

Cons: Maybe some more amenities in the room, hairdryer/kettle etc. But overall did not make much difference. Parking slightly awkward-street parking

Very new, very clean and a great host!

Pros: The communal areas and the room are all very new and very clean! Great value for money!! The host is very responsive and helpful! If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, I would thoroughly recommend the Abbey rooms!!

Nice modern converted house with clean rooms, communal facilities and a genial host

Pros: Nice clean room with decent beds, big telly, dressing table with drawers, en-suite shower room and sink/worktop with cupboards above. Communal kitchen came in handy for mugs/bottle opener etc. Back garden was nice to hang out in. Friendly owner who was happy to accommodate our requests and give local travel advice etc.

Cons: No major issues, it’s a decent place at a decent price! Couple of useful things to know in advance though : Property is on a fairly busy road, so if you’re in a room at the front of the house and want to open the windows, you’ll probably need some earplugs! Be advised that parking is on street, but it is free of charge so not a problem. We booked a twin room at very late notice on booking.com, but the owner said that the twin room request didn’t come through to him so we were given a double room. To his credit though, he split the bed base apart while we were out and put new single sheets on both beds, which we were very appreciative of when we got back after a night out!

Great value apartment that's recently been re-furbished.

Pros: Recently re-furbished property. I took Room 9 the apartment at the top. Really great modern space. Great location too.
