Pros: Staff were fantastic. Restuarant was very good, prices are very reasonable.

Cons: VERY minor point... could do with a water bucket and brush with so much mud in wet weather.

Overall enjoyable let down at the end of our stay by poor breakfast

Pros: The breakfast was a let down. I was not told of a menu for alternatives to the fry up and it was disappointing. The bacon was cold and tough. Had I known there were alternatives I would have chosen one.

Pros: It’s an excellent old English style hotel. Tastefully refurbished. Good food. Nice staff. My only comment which I make at most hotels is that the water pressure delivery in the shower was poor. For me showers are very important.

Our Christmas stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. The room and food was very nice .

Pros: The breakfast was very good. The views from our bedroom was very nice. The sauna and steam room were excellent. We enjoyed all of the facilities and the staff were all ways very helpful.

Cons: The toilet would take ages to flush. The shower could have been more powerful. But these were minor problems.

Cons: Steps on main building. I would like to thank the member of staff who was on duty in the morning of Tuesday he is male tall staff in dark blue suit. He love his job he treated us with the highest respect

Staff were very accommodating and friendly, always a pleasure to stay during the festive season!

Pros: Great deal of renovation happened. Food always excellent!

Cons: Carpets a little dated, could eventually do with some improvements there.

Pros: The hotel, the grounds and views, most of the staff with one exception, see below.

Cons: The man that ran the restaurant the night of 23rd Dec. Not only was it empty, not surprised as the prices are extortionate, but he was arrogant, ignorant and no customer service skills at all. Slammed the water glasses on our table, took the lamp from the next empty table and slammed that down too, great start. We asked what the catch of the day was, he mumbled something we didn't understand, asked him twice more and we still have no idea what he said. So we asked what is it, fish he replied, really Sherlock, so we asked is it a meaty fish, its white and fillet was Mr Personality's reply. So menus down and off to the bar we went, 100% professional and friendly service from the team in there.
