A perfect stay

Pros: The staff were super lovely, nothing is too much. The room was really clean, spotless in fact. Just an all round amazing place.

Cons: Lacks fresh air from not being able to open windows but soon satisfied with the air conditioning.

Great location, well equipped and comfortable room in a hotel full of character. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: Old building with lots of character, staff friendly, bar area clean, tidy and not too noisy. Room was clean and well equipped, bed comfortable and not a lot of noise coming from other rooms or corridors.

Cons: The only thing I could have a gripe about is that you can’t open the window to let fresh air in and must leave the a/c on constantly to keep the air circulating.

Great price, great staff..really interesting building, with a lot of History.Decor was fantastic.

Pros: A beautiful property in the middle of Cambridge, nice comfortable rooms.

Cons: When we checked in the staff were having some sort of private joke instead of greeting my wife and I straight away. It felt a bit uncomfortable. Also we were not told anything about breakfast and where the bar was. We also wasn’t told the location of our room. We a glass of wine each in the bar and they were both awful, clearly been open for a considerable amount of time. This was the second time staying at the Hobson, the first time was faultless.

Pros: The building was excellent particularly the restaurant was brilliant.

Cons: Minor issues the bath was a bit high awkward to get in and out.

Pros: Perfect location, a short walk away from all amenities and attractions in Cambridge. Stunning historical building, refurbished to a very high standard. The decor is modern and stylish whilst retaining the original character especially in common areas. We found it to be exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout. The rooms are very well equipped and spacious, super comfortable beds and great powerful hot shower. We enjoyed our buffet breakfast in the beautiful courtyard-conservatory restaurant. There was a wide variety of food on offer and everything was plentiful, fresh and tasty. We received a very high standard of service from the front-desk team who were extremely attentive and professional to ensure a most pleasurable stay. In particular Chris, who is a great ambassador for the hotel! We highly recommend The Hobson and we look forward to staying again on our next visit to Cambridge.

Pros: Gorgeous modern, yet cosy rooms with a classic feel. 10 minute walk to the main historic area of the city.
