We had a happy time. There is a loads to do and see in Cambridge and some great restaurants too.

Pros: Very comfortable and quiet room. The bar and dining room were very attractive. The staff were friendly and all the sights are in easy walking distance.

Cons: The breakfast was good but I have had better at similar standard hotels. I think it is strange to have continental style meat and cheeses out but no fresh bread rolls. I'd like stronger coffee too.

Picturesque setting which feels grand but with some quickly and homely touches too.

Pros: Amazing location with beautiful views. Underground parking although £40 made travel to easy. Helpful and friendly check in /reception staff. Lovely spacious room with good facilities.

Cons: Quite a wait for drinks at the bar which is to be expected when all cocktails handmade with care but felt staff should acknowledge those waiting. Fridge in room is very small so fine for one night but for longer stays larger storage would be helpful (staff helpfully got us an ice bucket to keep our things cool).

Pros: The staff were excellent. We requested an early check-in and, to our delight, they managed our request. Thank you.

Cons: The restaurant was full. It was a Saturday night and we should have booked.

Pros: wonderful room and bed, massive bathroom, great concierge service, great location.

Cons: check in was slightly late after 4pm but the excellent room and concierge service made up for it!

Great location, nice bar, comfortable room, high quality amenities.

Pros: Location, location, location. There are very few places like the University Arms in Cambridge so it is a stand out.

Cons: We organised 2 rooms and even confirmed everything when we checked in- but the front desk staff put our other party in the wrong room.

Keep it up

Pros: Vestibule good. Dining room good. Appearance and general tidiness good. Room warm, bed comfortable. Fridge a good aDDITIOJ.

Cons: Can't think of anything. We have been coming here since 1989 and whenever we return, whether it is just for breakfast, lunch or overnight stay, the University Arms is our first port-of-call. It was quite frustrating when you were closed for up-=grading.

Deluxe

Pros: Despite residing in Cambridge, we chose Parker’s Tavern for a celebratory stay, and it was an excellent decision. The décor is superb—stylish without feeling overdone—and the front-of-house team and staff were genuinely outstanding: attentive, warm, and highly professional throughout. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally well maintained. The whole experience felt calm, comfortable, and genuinely relaxing, and we had a fantastic day and stay overall. I would highly recommend staying here. For a premium property in the heart of Cambridge, it represents excellent value and delivers on every level.
