Nice and clean and quiet

Pros: Out of the way, clean, staff helpful, good parking

Everything you need and a reasonable price

Pros: The beds were comfey, and rooms had all we needed. The staff, reception and breakfast team were friendly and helpful. The train is a couple of minutes walk away and there is a small high street with a tesco express. The location itself felt safe, secure and peaceful. It was very reasonably priced also, 2 nights for 2 people were less than £100.

Cons: Room 504 had a bad smell, caused by the shower drain and it was very unpleasant. We were barely in the room due to full days of activity, so just bought an air freshener which helped. However in hind sight we should have asked to move. It would not put us off staying again though.

Pros: Close to the train station. Good price and nice room with shared kitchen facilities

Pros: Great type of accommodation, well set out and easy to navigate around the premises .

Cons: The lighting was a bit bright but I like dimmable lights .

A Lovely Stay

Pros: Staff friendly. Nice comfortable relaxing area. Catch up on your mobile with WiFi connection. Kitchen area well equipped. My room was very comfortable.Bed was comfy. Room very nice and clean.

Cons: I think it should have hand rails and a shower mat. The floor was slippery when wet. And there is a small step, when you get out of the shower.And maybe a mop today the floor after your shower.A lovely stay

Slept well, it was perfect for what I needed

Pros: It was clean and comfortable asi walked in the room was warm , the shower had good pressure the lady who checked me in ( Lloyd) was welcoming . Would definitely stay again if I'm in area

Exceptional - very helpful, friendly and obliging staff

Pros: It was situated in a lovely area, close to the train station, a short walk to the centre of Cheshunt. Plenty of great walks nearby, inc the canal. The kitchens are well equipped.

Cons: I’m not sure (I should have asked) if they have solar panels. This would help with the many lights that they use in the cabins and main reception area. Maybe they should have light sensors in the kitchens. I would often see the lights left on in my kitchen area, I would turn them off. I wish the WiFi would be available in the cabins, atm you have to go into the main reception area to use your laptop/mobile. I like to relax in my comfy clothes to watch films. I can’t really do that in the reception area

Pros: The staff and facilities were excellent, and upon arrival, the room and communal areas were clean and to a good standard.

Cons: Visitors, not respecting other guests and the facilities available. For example, excessive noise until 3 am. every night, the fridge left open to allow other guests' food to spoil, leaving communal areas dirty. This is not a reflection on the YHA, just the calibre of people staying. The cabins do carry noise as expected but not excessive when people adhere to the house rules. I guess it only takes a few to ruin a potentially great stay 🤷‍♂️

I enjoy staying there very much.
