Enjoyable, pleasant stay

Pros: The bedroom was very clean, warm and comfortable. The decor fitted the theme of the pub, bringing together old charm with modern fresh surroundings. It was quiet at night. We stayed on a week day but the restaurant was busy. The staff were friendly

Pros: We liked the location as it was a pleasant walk to the Flatford Mill area. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were nicely decorated and had lots of character. Food was excellent

Exceptional, good value, friendly, cozy and comfortable place to stay and eat

Pros: The ambience, room comfort and decor, luxury room accessories, including selection of top quality teas, hot chocolate and coffee machine with coffee pods. Very cosy and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included which was exceptional in quality, presentation and served hot with top quality tea or coffee included. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Also had an evening meal which also was fantastic quality and very reasonably priced. Possibly the best Inn we’ve stayed in which ticked all the boxes one requires. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

Pros: Really lovely rooms, excellent restaurant, comfy sofas, staff were delightful. Walked around the gorgeous village loop. Close to Flatford Mill. Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend.

Pros: The room decor was nice. The pub bit is nice and welcoming but with a limited winter menu. Breakfast really good.

Cons: The attic room 3, sloping walls so had to watch your head if you're a 6 footer. The widow in the bathroom meant no privacy when in there.

Great pub/hotel.

Pros: Lively hotel, excellent bar and restaurant area. Great atmosphere. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Food good and the breakfast was very generous.

Cons: Shower over bath (handheld) was difficult to use. You either had to sit in the bath or stand up. If you stood up the water went everywhere! If you were an older couple you might have trouble getting in and out of the bath.

Pros: Beautiful room and bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.

Cons: I loved everything. The entrance to the bathroom was narrow with restricted heading which might be difficult for some visitors but I loved how quirky it was. And the bathroom was stunning

A very comfortable, and enjoyable stay. Hope to return before too long.

Pros: The staff were excellent and the meals we ate, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious and very well presented.

Cons: Unfortunately there was a problem with the sound system which came on loudly at 04:30 in a room directly below our bedroom. I did report it in the morning and the manager was very apologetic. It wouldn’t stop us staying there again.
