Pros: Our room, situated in a block behind the pub, was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It had a nice view out the back. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: There was a WiFi repeater, mounted on the ceiling, near to the bed which emitted a bright blue light. While this meant the WiFi signal was excellent it effectively meant one was sleeping with a nightlight on. It would, in our opinion, be better if the router was reconfigured with the light off. Lack of a shelf in the shower cubicle on which to place the shower gel etc. Lack of hook on the bathroom door to hang ones dressing gown on.

Proper gem of a place .

Pros: Steve was brilliant when he found out that we were bringing our dog and I hadn't booked a dog friendly room. Altered our booking immediately . Very friendly . Was worried room wasn't going to be as nice as the one I originally booked but the woodland rooms were great and patio doors led straight out onto the grounds so easy access for our dog . The breakfast packages were great as we were just told we couldn't get breakfast in the pub. Croissants , jam, fruit , cereal and fresh juice and milk for the fridge .

Lovely cosy pub

Pros: Amazing friendly staff. Pub was great. Room was lovely and spacious. Very comfy bed. Continental breakfast offered. 2 mins from wedding venue.

Cons: They weren’t able to offer a cooked breakfast as advertised. The facilities could be slightly better like shampoo and conditioner. Small attention to detail missed.

Would stay here again if in the area and hope the breakfast improves.

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. A fan was also provided which helped on the very hot night.

Cons: We had a 40 minute wait for breakfast and when it came the toast was cold and dry.The bacon was dried out and my husbands poached eggs were hard.in all fairness we did not complain as we had already waited so long and had to be on our way! Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but felt sorry for the girl on duty who was having to take the flack from some of customers for waiting so long!

Pros: Great little pub with a nice atmosphere and good food. Garden rooms are great if you are traveling with a dog, if not go for one of the indoor rooms.
