Pros: Beautiful traditional Inn, staff were great,rooms were comfortable. We stayed for a Wedding in Thaxted, I would say pre book any taxis if you require them !!

Room adequate size, it was nice and cool, and a nice field to let the dog run on.

Pros: We could check in early. Nice pub, lovely staff and owner, really helpful.

Excellent value for money pub

Pros: Beautiful quiet location en route to Audley End house and Thaxted. We were given a very friendly welcome and shown to a comfortable room, exceptionally clean and with all amenities. Again a warm welcome at breakfast time, with the largest breakfast I’ve ever undertaken. The dining room was characterful and homely with even a dining table within an inglenook

Staff very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Breakfast delivered to my room was adjusted to my preference. Bar service was very good and good choice. Size of meal in restaurant was downsized at my request and priced accordingly . Food was very good.
