Lovely views

Pros: The apartment was in a great location with lovely views over the sea.

Cons: Didn’t like the toilet being on the downstairs level

Highly recommended, beautifully furnished and well equipped apartment on two floors

Pros: A perfect location for a view of the estuary. Loved waking up watching the tide come in with our first cup of tea. Also amazing that you can see so far towards London you could predict the weather rolling in! Ideal for access to the trains as Chalkwell Station is only a 5 minute walk and perfect for good walks down to Old Leigh or along Chalkwell Beach, plus uphill to the many shops and eateries in The Broadway and Leigh Road. I can imagine the balconies are a fabulous bonus in the summer months. Bernadette is an amazing host and very helpful with suggestions for restaurants/pubs and places of interest. Also, any questions are answered quickly - not all Booking.com Hosts respond with such speed.

Cons: Parking is tight if you have a large car, but we managed to park diagonally with small over hang on pavement and easy access to front door. We struggled a little with the Glass TV in the main bedroom but soon mastered the sequence buttons on the remote.

Pros: The apartment is very spacious, stylish yet homely.

Cons: The only thing that might be useful is a house manual with more information about recycling, local places to eat etc.

Beautiful sea views apartment

Pros: Lovely position in Leigh on Sea with beautiful views and near the old town. We loved the main balcony. Very close to Chalkwell station with frequent trains along the coast or to London. Gorgeous apartment with everything you could need. The host was very pleasant and helpful.

Cons: The parking was a bit awkward as the drive was short.

Fabulous family stay in beautiful apartment - real home from home !

Pros: Stunning apartment with absolutely everything you could need. Perfect for us and teenage daughter. Loved sitting on balcony with lovely sea views . Met at property and shown round and made sure we had all we needed and easy contact if any issues. Bonus of easy parking outside also -would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
