Beautiful little house in a lovely area, perfectly situated with everything in walking distance!
Pros: Beautiful little house, in an ideal location close to all amenities. It was next door to a very smart hotel bar restaurant The Ship. The house was clean and warm and well-equipped. Across the road within a 2 minute walk you have all of Old Leigh-on-Sea, with the beautiful pretty pubs, cafes, fish shops, fancy restaurants for fine dining, the cockle sheds, gift shops and the sea front with a tiny beach for dog walking, and further along all the old fishing boats. A few minutes walk in the other direction behind the house you have the town, high street which has everything you need, more bars and restaurants, plenty of pretty, dog friendly cafes and boutique shops..
Cons: Parking! It was a nightmare! No designated parking spot. Luckily we found a spot across the road on the evening we arrived, but as soon as we moved the car it was taken and it was almost impossible to find another. Spent a lot of time driving around hoping someone would move so the second night we had to park a good few minutes away. And a hairdryer would have been appreciated!

We'll definitely stay again..
Pros: The location is ideal. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It was great having the enclosed outside space for our dog. We couldn't find any bedding for the sofa bed, but we managed. The only negative (& nothing to do with the property) was the building work going on next door (hotel renovation). We had to speak with the builders each day to negotiate a parking space.

Pros: The layout was brilliant. Especially with the 2 bedrooms having patio doors onto the garden- that was luxurious! There was every possible home comfort- tea, coffee, toiletries etc they had thought of everything.

A beautiful, cosy place to stay in a great location.
Pros: It's got gorgeous light and there's a great living space. We really liked the small touches such as the board games. We played a lot of Monopoly! Location is convenient - a short walk from the station, an even shorter walk to the small beach and easy to get to shops such as Tesco and other places to eat. There's a bath with a shower, and while we didn't go into the garden, it would be great in warmer weather if you have kids to give them a run-around. I really appreciated the kid bowls and plates.
Cons: There's quite a narrow set of shallow steps up to the front door which isn't ideal with a buggy but that was a minor inconvenience. The front lounge faces onto a small area where people can park so sometimes that was a bit noisy, but nothing noisy at night, or disturbing - just something we noticed.
