The static

Pros: Personal touch from the host made us feel very welcomed.

Cons: All good no complaints. Watch Lower road it's rough in places, my tip is to enter Lower road via Chapel Lane, then it's fine. Nothing against the property.

Great host and quite location

Pros: Quite and isolated, nice annex. Could be great when the weather is nicer

Cons: Poor wifi and toilet - washroom set up is not ideal.

Perfect place to stay for a day at the races. Newmarket is around 6 miles from caravan.

Pros: A very quiet, very tidy well equipped caravan with a bedroom and shower room at both ends. Perfectly positioned for visiting Cambridge, Ely and Newmarket.

Very easy, enjoyable stay in a quiet rural setting. Highly recommend.

Pros: It was fabulous having our own bathrooms and toilets at either end of the building, with a shared cooking and living space in the middle. It was situated in a quiet rural area yet easily accessible by car, then park and ride, to Cambridge, where we were visiting. The owners were very friendly and helpful and it was a light and airy space, with views of the garden from the balcony area and the rear bedroom. It met our needs very well, was reasonably priced and was a very enjoyable stay.

Cons: The downside is that it would be difficult to access via public transport, but that wasn’t an issue for us.

Exceptional stay

Pros: Very comfortable clean and warm accommodationRoomy with plenty of cupboards .Lovely views of the garden Comfortable bed and quiet location.Hosts very friendly and helpful.Useful to have 2 toilets and showers plus bath.

Cons: Would have liked some soap to have been provided in the bathroom and also a baking tray in the kitchen.

Perfect for Wicken Fen

Pros: Great location for visiting Wicken Fen nature reserve. Good space to cook, relax and chill outside on the deck. Lovely welcome from the hosts and vegan biscuits were very much appreciated, thank you 😀

Cons: The mattress in the main bedroom was not good; no support and you could feel all the springs. I slept in the other room instead. This is more a feedback comment. As a solo female traveller, I would have liked to see a bolt or something to secure the main door.

A little home away from home.

Pros: Great for 2 people, we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Layout lovely. Everything was in good working order. The decking and outside chairs were a bonus - lovely to sit out in the sunshine. Oliver was v welcoming on arrival and answered my questions really quickly through the app. The Static is close to the National Trust Wicken Fen and there is a lovely pub in Wicken as well.

Cons: Nothing - it was all good!

Good location

Pros: The location was ideal for us as we were visiting family in Soham. The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation had all we needed including fans which was good as we visited during a very hot spell of weather.

Cons: The bed was not overly comfortable and would benefit from a new matress. However we slept reasonably well.

Excellent

Pros: Excellent value for money with far more flexibility than a hotel room with kitchen and sitting room
