Fab stay!

Pros: Our stay here last weekend was fabulous. Everything about it you couldn't fault. The service and food absolutely spot on and our room was immaculate. Can't wait to stay again!

Pros: Lovely spacious room, views excellent. Nice friendly staff . Cosy bar area .

Cons: Toilet in room, flush very temperamental. No toilet brush. To keep it clean!

A welcome break.

Pros: Good homely feel. Great location. Nothing too much for staff. Free bottled water and paper a bonus.

Cons: We thought the room would be a bit bigger. The bed certainly had a hard (broken?) spot in it. Very noisy shower.

A place to return to

Pros: Great hotel. Helpful, very well trainined staff. Warm, comfortable and exceptional breakfast beautifuly served at the table. Pretty small town - no doubt good for walking but we didn't have much time to explore during this visit but will be back

Cons: Black mould in the shower sealant and around the sink plughole - a bit of bleach would fix this

Relaxing stay in this beautiful hotel near to Snape

Pros: Beautiful building; great location; appealing interior bar and restaurant areas . The Manager and staff were fantastic; breakfast excellent. Would come again!

Cons: Although our garden room was spacious , comfy and well furnished with everything we needed, we were a little disappointed that we could hear our neighbour’s bathroom plumbing and their voices through the walls. For quite an expensive night’s stay, we didn’t realise we were in one of the annexe rooms. But everything else was perfect. Thank you .

We had a super stay and would highly recommend.

Pros: Beautiful comfortable room with wonderful view. Very clean and excellent shower. Tasty breakfast and the tasting menu was fantastic. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Ordford is a very interesting location. Very pretty with loads to do. The hotel hired electric bikes which were a brilliant way of getting around and highly recommend the ferry to Butley.

Cons: The water temperature for the bath at around 5pm wasn’t very hot. Everything else was absolutely fine.

Comfortable and very well fed!

Pros: We were cycling the wolf way and so this was perfectly placed along the way. The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious and hot even though we were a big group

Cons: We had a problem with a room due to a previous guest but the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating in trying to help the situation

Great place to stay for a small group

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent and even though we were a group of 10 our food all came together and perfectly prepared, hot and delicious-

Cons: One of our group had an unpleasant smell in their room but the staff did everything to accommodate date them even though they were full and the room was unusable. Great service

Pros: Great food, friendly helpful staff and great location.

Cons: Room cleaning could be better, tea bags weren't restocked.

A great refresher after a long bicycle ride in

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, going beyond expected levels of helpfulness. Food was very very good, with a great selection of dinner options and one of the best eggs Benedict for me at breakfast!
