Pros: Comfortable and easy to check in. We also ate in the pub which had excellent food and good real ales at the bar. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice. We would definitely return next time we are birdwatching at Minsmere.

Comfortable and welcoming stay

Pros: Friendly welcoming staff. Clean comfortable, generous size rooms. Mine (Robin) looked out onto a little garden at the back. Very quiet. Good food choice for evening meal and generous good quality breakfast. I was a solo traveller and felt very safe and at ease here. Hope to book again in the future

Cons: Not a fault of the property. but inconsiderate people in upstairs room stomping backwards and forwards repeatedly until very late and with phone ringer volume up high. There wasnt noise from the neighbouring rooms or carpark otherwise, so I think without thoughtless people the room would have been very peaceful.

Excellent hotel comfortable feel. Ideal location for Aldeburgh and Southwold.

Pros: Decor, ambiance and layout. Good layout with easy access rooms from car park, various dining areas and a warm cosy bar area with proper beer.

Cons: Shower a bit small, that’s all!

Pros: Room was clean, warm, and comfortable Had tea and coffee,lush hot chocolate and good biscuits! Food was really tasty, breakfast was amazing, great choice of food at breakfast, good quality and plenty of it. Lots of walks nearby, close to the heaths and RSPB Minsmere, beautiful area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again

Cons: We were in a downstairs room, could hear the guests upstairs walking about, sounded quite loud but that's the only thing I could find fault with. Didn't bother us. Felt menu slightly limited for dinner.

Pros: Good value Staff were wonderful Food was delicious

Cons: Room smelt very musty Also very noise / dog constantly barking in next room. The people above us sounded like a herd of elephants so not as relaxing as we hoped.
