Couple of nights staying in a village pub within a short distance to Chelmsford for Radio 2 in the park weekend. Accomm

Pros: Although located within the pub the room was still separate enough not to be affected by the noise from the bar or garden area. Good atmosphere and food is lovely. Staff exceptionally helpful.

Pros: Location, friendly, welcoming, immaculately clean room & bathroom. Breakfast was good choice, fresh quality ingredients . Great value for money.

Pros: Great staff. Good choice of Drinks and Menu. Nice room and comfortable bed. TV was small but as we didn't spend much time in the room so that didn't really bother us

Pros: Staff members all very friendly and helpful. The food we had was well presented and tasted nice. Location good . Room was comfortable and clean on arrival

Cons: Room wasn’t serviced at all in our 3 night stay. Breakfast selection minimal ie no cereal or pastries. A number of items were not available from the main menu

Pros: A nice looking hotel with many nice features Room.ok and had a good sleep after moving from one next door. Evening meal was fine, steak pie and fresh veg a delight. Good breakfast in the morning

Cons: bathroom floor needs recovering and some paintwork uodated. Kettle to large to go under tap to top up. Sugar missing from room for hot drinks. Original room next door you could hear air con on pub cooling, quite noisy, moved us next door
