Very friendly pub with great rooms and great food.

Pros: The cooked breakfast was exceptional, the room was huge and qite querky with sloping floor due to the age of the building. Staff were very friendly and parking was off road and plenty of it. The restaurant ffod was extremely good, had the pies on chefs recommendation.

Cons: Not much really. The bar/restaurant was very quiet, but it was mid winter, so not surprising. Very small village and it looked like the other pub was closed, so limted dining options.

Lovely little place, friendly staff!!

Pros: Lovely little B&B and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Even gave us a lift to a nearby village where we were attending a wedding due to not being able to get a taxi. Included breakfast was also very tasty.

Cons: Don't have the heating on full blast in the rooms, was way too warm when we arrived and found it hard to open windows to cool it down.

My time at The Golden Key met up to all my requirements. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Pros: Full English breakfast, tea and cereal. Quite nicely cooked after a bit of a wait (due to late arrival of chef apparently). Not a problem but not available until 9 a.m. and required to be out of room by 10 a.m.

Cons: The room was self-contained with immediate access to the outside, therefore requiring a walk through the rain to access the main building for breakfast. Again, not a big deal but some may find this annoying.

Lovely weekend away.

Pros: Very welcoming staff. Lovely comfortable and large room. Food was great. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Great location for walks along the river and to the Maltings where we went to a concert.

Cons: Nothing. All was good. Will definitely visit again.

Super location, good service, lovely staff and smashing grub. Nice welcome for families of all ages.

Pros: Lovely rooms, spacious and great bathroom facilities. The staff were super friendly and very forgiving of a misunderstanding on my part with room keys. Lovely choices for breakfast and great service. We ate our evening meal here too and the choice was smashing- beautifully served and good size portions. Great value for money.

Cons: One bedside light in one room didn’t seem to have an electricity source nearby so we couldn’t use it. Minor issue though.

Very convenient location near Snape Maltings, large room and good food

Pros: Breakfast was very good, choice of cereals was fine and the cooked options plentiful . The muffin with scrambled egg and smoked salmon was a large portion. The evening meals were also well cooked and generous. Did not have room for dessert.

Cons: The rooms are up a fairly narrow and steep staircase which was not a problem for us but could be an issue for disabled or elderly as there is no lift. I mentioned to the staff about having a non-slip mat in the bath for ease of getting out of the shower.

Nice, friendly pub with good rooms, very convenient for Snape.

Pros: Some rooms are in the main building, another has a separate entrance at the side. It's a slightly better room, BUT note that the ceilings slope and to get from the bed/bathroom area to the sofa/TV area you have to navigate between beams which could be a problem for the less mobile.

Cons: Quiet location but in this room there was some boiler noise behind the bed in the night. Breakfast is served from 9am (quite late).
