A pleasant short get away in a lovely part of the world

Pros: It was a lovely property as part of a farmhouse and it was easy to access with lockbox etc. It was very clean and tidy and comfortable, despite a very hot summer!

Cons: It was a little remote and there was no sign of breakfast options in the property (that I could find).

Pros: The rooms were fine and welcoming. Generally clean and tidy. Good parking and key security. Good garden space. A good base for our holiday.

Cons: The folder instructions were not detailed enough. The instructions for the heating and hot water system were lacking detail. How to operate the shower was lacking.

Well equipped comfortable cottage in a rural location but easy access to elsewhere. Will come back

Pros: Very quiet and peaceful location with little traffic noise. Nice view onto field and horses. Good pub - the Old Mill- only a short drive away (walk there in summer?) Lots of leaflets and magazines with local info, Good kitchen equipment but cutlery a bit restricted. The dining table has 2 leaves which open out so we had one permanently open which gave room for the computer to sit while eating, enormous very comfortable bed, lots of spare bedding. Lots of directions in which you could travel - useful as we hit Storm Babet and Framlingham flooded badly and no travel possible on Friday and we had to ask for a route back towards Cambridge on Saturday. We liked the bakery but couldn't revisit (or see the castle) owing to floods.

Cons: Rather impersonal, no contact with the owners and NO WELCOME TRAY on arrival. What happened to the beer and crisps which are still in the photos? A small heap of jiffy cloth, sponge and washing machine tablets didn't look very welcoming! Lighting in main room was rather dim and made reading rather difficult (not everyone watches TV all the time!) Bedroom lighting was fine. The blue carpet under the dining table (not as shown in the pictures) tended to ruckle so it was a slight trip hazard.

Great location for touring.

Pros: Good location. Well equipped. Good value. Sadly, saw no staff.

Cons: All a bit 'official'. Saw no staff. List of jobs to be done!! Shower room was a very very wet room! Water pressure poor in bathroom, except shower.

Very relaxing, was able to destress and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pros: The location was idyllic set in beautiful countryside and lovely open spaces. Perfect if you want to get away from city / town life for a while. Property was comfy, clean and kitchen equipped fully. Main town of Framlingham only 5 to 10 minutes drive away where you have a good supermarket, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Cons: The only downside was the communal garden which I didn't expect. It would have been nice to have had a private space outside but there was an open space at the front which, luckily was empty so got a bit of privacy there. If you are out all the time this is not a problem or if you are a social butterfly and don't mind a bit of company.
