Great hotel, staff friendly and right on the doorstep of the train station

Pros: Clean, great facilities, lovely breakfast and nice food and bar and seating area at the bottom of the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful

Cons: Pillows a bit uncomfortable but that’s just me. If travelling by car be mindful that parking is not available outside the hotel for long stays. Parking is available near a leisure centre about a 10 - 15 minute walk away. Hotel does give a QR code for a discount which certainly helped!

Perfectly adequate and comfortable place for a one-night stay to enable some planned activities

Pros: Handy location for my needs. Lovely, helpful staff.

Cons: Minor things only: fewer than usual hangers in the wardrobe, sachets of milk curdled when put in tea (?beyond use by date), TV remote didn’t always work (?new battery needed)

Pros: Lovely decor, comfortable room, warm welcome from great Reception team. Very quiet considering it's right next to the railway. Nice breckie.

The property was conveniently located, the staff were helpful and it was an enjoyable stay.

Pros: the room was very spacious I was expecting something much smaller for a twin room but there was quite a lot of space! the bathroom was big but is mainly down to it being an accessible bathroom with enough space for a wheelchair. The location is good it’s a little 15-20 minute walk into the city centre but there is a bus station and taxis right next to the building if you don’t fancy the walk. I didn’t pay initially for breakfast but we added it onto our booking it was £12 per person which for an all you can eat breakfast that runs til 11am I think is pretty good. The staff were pleasant and professional. Beds were comfortable, there was a mattress topper on them both.

Cons: No complaints really the only minuscule gripe was the fact the air con/heating unit automatically comes on when you enter the room and put your keycard in which id rather it not do but aside from that nothing pressing!

Exceptional hotel! Cheap, very clean and comfortable

Pros: Large bed, clean room, friendly staff, bustling environment with cafe downstairs, good location beside the station, swapping the daily clean for £5 voucher in the cafe downstairs, loved this! Delicious breakfast, plenty of choices, beautiful breakfast room.

Cons: Nothing, my stay was better than expected
